MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Country Club want to expand its dining accommodations with a new outdoor patio.

Municipal planning officials said Thursday that the club has applied for a special exemption permit to construct one at its 305 South Main St. property.

Plans call for a concrete slab measuring 35-by-95 feet.

A tent would be erected for seasons dining, according to the plans.

The plans are tentatively scheduled for review at the May 17 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.
