Manchester Firefighters Battle Flames at Vacant Mill on Tolland Tpk

The cause of the fire is not known, but the fire chief said it appeared suspicious, WFSB-TV reported.

Manchester Fire Department crews battled a fire early Monday evening at a vacant mill building on Tolland Turnpike, according to a report on WFSB-TV.

The fire chief considers the fire suspicious, the television station reported, although the cause is not yet known.

Fox CT reports that the fire started just before 6 p.m. in an abandoned building at 260 Tolland Tpk. and was under control in an hour.
