With Mother Nature expected to cooperate, the town will celebrate the 29th annual and fireworks display tonight.Â
The event, held at the Bicentennial Band Shell, will begin at 4 p.m., with bands Skyline Drive scheduled to play from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Mohegan Sun All Stars scheduled to play from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The fireworks are set for 9:30 p.m.Â
The National Weather Service is forecasting a beautiful, sunny day Sunday with temperatures near 88ºF and likewise a nice clear night with the temperatures dipping to about 58ºF.
