Manchester Obituary: Phyllis Doughty, 91

Phyllis Ann Doughty, 91, of Pageland, South Carolina formerly of Fort Fairfield, Maine and formerly of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 19, 2018 while surrounded by loving family.

She was born on January 17, 1927 in Fort Fairfield, Maine to the late Cecil Dorsey and Amanda Davenport Dorsey. She later met and united in marriage to Bruce Doughty who precedes her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Doughty; grandson, Jeffery Doughty; great granddaughter, Willow Grace Nichols; one sister and three brothers; daughter-in-law, Diane Doughty and son-in-law, Michael Nichols.

Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving sons, Brian Doughty Sr. of Sanford, Maine and Randy Doughty of Manchester; daughter, Brenda Nichols of Pageland, South Carolina; daughter-in-law, Jackie Doughty of Ashford; thirteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
