MANCHESTER, CT — The following is an elections update for Manchester residents:

In preparation for the general election scheduled on Nov. 3, the Manchester Town Clerk's Office and Registrars of Voters Office are working to provide the Manchester community with the latest information on voting registration, security, and processes to ensure all eligible voters who wish to vote this year are able to do so safely and securely.
The COVID-19 pandemic has posed many challenges changing the community’s comfort levels and/or abilities in getting to a polling place. With this in mind, the town will be utilizing a variety of communication channels to better inform the community on upcoming election information and accessibility.
An FAQ section, which can be found on the Town’s election webpage, addresses community questions around the process, security, and other helpful election information. The community will have access to details on the following:
- Voter Registration
- Absentee Ballot Process and Security
- In-Person Polling Places, Locations, and Safety Protocols
- Important Dates and Deadlines
- Helpful Notices and Forms
