MCC Veteran Elevated To Building Supervisor

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester Community College has named veteran staff member Robert Godere building maintenance supervisor.

Godere is responsible for the campus physical plant and is in charge of custodian and

maintenance services for all of MCC, which includes 500,000 square feet of buildings and
facilities.

He earned a bachelor of science degree in management with a concentration in environmental
management and sustainability from Post University. He is also a graduate of the Executive
Master of Natural Resources in Global Sustainability program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University.

He joined MCC in 2014 as an electrical and environmental coordinator. Previously, he held
numerous electrical, building-engineering and environmental supervisory positions at colleges
and private companies across the state.
