Members Being Sought For Manchester Youth Commission
The Manchester Youth Commission is seeking new members.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Youth Commission is seeking highly motivated Manchester youth who are entering grades 9 through 12 in the fall of 2021 to serve on the commission.
The commission offers an opportunity for youth to demonstrate leadership and bridge connections with like-minded youth who desire to be "catalysts for change" within their community.
Commissioners also have a voice in the municipal government and frequently partner with government and community agencies.

The Commission also runs an annual mini grant program that funds initiatives and organizations that support Manchester youth.
The Youth Commission meets bi-weekly from September through June.

Any youth who are interested in serving on the commission must submit an application no later
than May 14.

Interviews are currently scheduled for May 18th, 2021 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m and applicants will be notified by email whether the interviews will be conducted in person or virtually.
