The Most Dangerous Roads In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester’s most dangerous roadway over the past four years is Interstate-84 with more than 700 crashes. Off the highway, it's Route 83 with more than 600.

The University of Connecticut Crash Data Repository has crunched data from The Department of Public Safety and the state Department of Transportation. In all, there were 7,194 crashes in town since 2015 and 13,767 vehicles were involved. A total of 18,916 people were affected.

A dozen of the crashes proved to be fatal, 40 involved serious injuries and 707 involved minor injuries.

• Route 6 (384)
• Route 30 (380)
