Paving Work To Cause Delays In Downtown Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — Work is beginning this week on a project to resurface Spruce Street in Manchester.

The project is expected to take a month to complete. With daily work running weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The contractor for the Jon is Costa and Son LLC.

The work includes some preliminary drainage, storm drain and sewer repairs.

Motorists should expect minor traffic delays with alternating, one-way traffic, officials said.

Detours have also been set up.

Spruce Street is a busy side road in Downtown Manchester that runs parallel to Main Street.
