Manchester Man Killed In New Year's Day Pedestrian Accident
A pedestrian was killed in a New Year's Day traffic accident in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — A pedestrian was killed in a New Year's Day traffic accident in Manchester, police said.
The crash took place at 11:53 a.m. on Broad Street near Center Street. Police on Thursday afternoon identified the victim as Daniel Zumpe, 43, of Manchester.
Emergency medical care was provided to him at the scene and in an ambulance en route to Hartford Hospital, police said. Zumpe died as a result of his injuries, according to a report.
