The project includes construction of a 10-foot wide concrete shared use path on the south side of Hartford Road and the east side of Bidwell Street. The new path will connect to the existing Charter Oak Greenway on each end and will replace the only "on-road" portion of the Greenway in Manchester.

The estimates cost is $835,000 with the state providing the full construction cost and the town adding design costs.
