Restaurant Chain Shares Super Bowl Appetizer Recipe With Public
Olive Garden on Tuesday shared a new Super Bowl appetizer recipe with the public.

MANCHESTER, CT — Olive Garden on Tuesday introduced a new Super Bowl week appetizer and shared the recipe with the public so folks can try it at home after trying it at the restaurant.
"In the spirit of teamwork, Olive Garden is releasing its hack for the perfect Super Bowl party appetizer — Loaded Pasta Chips," restaurant officials said in a news release.
Brand new to menus starting Jan. 29, the Loaded Pasta Chips dish is an "Italian twist" on nachos, that swaps tortilla chips for lightly fried pasta chips topped with Italian Cheeses, a meat sauce with chicken, meatballs and sausage, cherry peppers and an alfredo drizzle.

For those throwing Super Bowl parties for the big game, Olive Garden is sharing the recipe to make pasta chips at home.
It involves lasagna noodles, lightly fried and tossed in garlic salt – and Italian toppings.

Loaded Pasta Chips will be available at Olive Garden restaurants until April 1.
Here is the recipe:
Pasta Chips
- Stack lasagna noodle sheets on a cutting board.
- Cut each sheet into 3 equal pieces
- Heat oil into a pan and gradually add chips to the oil; fry until crispy
- Transfer cooked chips to basket and allow the excess oil to drain for 1 minute
- Gently toss cooked chips in garlic salt to coat
- Add favorite toppings
