Retiring Manchester Fire Chief Gets Unique Sendoff
A longtime member of the Manchester Fire department had his last shift last week.

MANCHESTER, CT — Colleagues gave longtime Manchester firefighter and chief Dave Billings a unique sendoff for his last day in the job Friday.
It was a final dispatch:
Billings worked the last shift of his 27-year career Friday. He began in Manchester in 1994 and rose through the ranks from firefighter to chief of the department.
