Road Resurfacing Project Begins For 8 Manchester Roads
A road resurfacing project will be affecting traffic on eight roads in Manchester through the spring.

MANCHESTER, CT — An extensive road resurfacing project began this week in Manchester and it is expected to delay traffic on eight streets through the end of spring.
The streets are:
- Burnham Street Extension
- North School Street
- Buckland Alley
- Union Court
- Benton Street
- Walker Street
- Russell Street
- Parker Street (from Middle Turnpike East to East Center Street)
The contractor for the project, American Industries, expects the work to take place through June.

Manchester officials said motorists should expect "minor" delays near the construction areas with alternating, one-way traffic patterns being imposed.
Construction is slated for weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
