Signs of Spring Are Already Showing In Downtown Manchester
Downtown Manchester was showing signs of spring Thursday.

MANCHESTER, CT — Even amid the snow Thursday, Main Street in Downtown Manchester was showing signs of spring.
New seasonal Downtown banners have replaced the holiday decorations along Main Street. The colorful banners are designed to "welcome visitors Downtown and add some cheer to the landscape."
Outdoor dining is also on the horizon, Downtown Manchester officials said.

The decorations were made possible by donations from: Anne Miller Real Estate, LLC., Bistro on Main, Cheney Mortgage, Diana, Conti & Tunila, LLP, Diane M. Sauer, Attorney at Law, ECHN, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Highland Park Marekt, Igdalsky & Co. CPA’s, Imagine Main Street, Little Theatre of Manchester, MACC Charities, Manchester Elks Lodge 1893, Manchester Ophthalmology, Manchester Road Race, MARC Inc. of Manchester, Manchester Community College, O’Brien Law, Silk City Coffee, Total Pay Inc.
"The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is proud to display our banner in the Downtown area each year," chamber president April DiFalco said. "Not only do these banners signify that spring is coming, but that shops and restaurants are open for business, offering an overall feeling of welcome when you drive or walk up Main St."

Added Beth Stafford, the executive director and CEO of MACC Charities, "Banners are an affordable and positive way to state that we are here, and we are invested in Downtown Manchester. MACC and Bistro on Main are proud to sponsor a banner each year."
