Teen Seriously Hurt In Manchester Crash

A two-car crash in Manchester on Thursday afternoon sent four to area hospitals, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A two-car crash in Manchester on Thursday afternoon sent a 17-year-old girl to Hartford Hospital with what police are describing as serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.

The crash took place at 3:07 p.m. near the intersection of Porter Street and Westminster Road, police said.

The girl, a passenger, appeared to have been thrown from one of the vehicles. She was taken from the scene by ambulance, according to a report.

Three others, whose ages were not included in a report, were taken to area hospitals with what appeared to be non life-threatening injuries, police said.

The crash is under investigation and police are asking witnesses to call 860-645-5560.
