CONNECTICUT — A considerable amount of juggling of last week's top 10 high school baseball squads in Connecticut resulted in a new No. 1 team being anointed.

East Catholic collected nine of 14 first-place votes to take over the top spot for the first time this season. Daniel Hand, last week's No. 1 school, collected three top nods to place second, while Southington jumped two spots into third.

Here are the top 10, with first-place votes and last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other schools receiving votes.
