'Tis the season for free things and Star Wars!

Join the conversation at the Academy of Martial Arts Facebook page and win a unique Star Wars gift.

Star Wars has long been an inspiration for Joel Waldron, the owner of the Academy in Manchester. Twenty-five years ago when he first opened the doors to the school, then called the Academy of Martial Arts and Personal Development (it's a more descriptive name, but quite a mouthful!), he only offered martial arts classes for kids and adults.

It didn't take long for him to create the class that he wished he'd been able to take as a kid, a Jedi Warrior Training program. The program combines moves from the American Ninja Warrior competition with Jedi discipline and, of course, light sabers!

This week the Academy is giving away a twin-sized Star Wars quilt made by local artisan Mia Gonzalez of Quilt and Dagger Design in Vernon. The rules are simple (more details here), go to the Academy Facebook page and answer one (or all) of the three questions in this post and you'll be entered to win.
