The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for northern Connecticut. Here's what more to expect Tuesday.
HARTFORD/TOLLAND/WINDHAM COUNTY, CT — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory until 4 p.m. for northern Connecticut. The winter storm warning that was previously issued on Monday has been canceled.
The weather service said, "Light snow showers and pockets of freezing drizzle. Total additional snow accumulation of a coating to 1 inch. A glaze of ice accretion is also possible. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph."

Patchy snow showers and freezing drizzle before 2pm, then patchy snow showers, freezing drizzle, and sleet between 2pm and 3pm, then patchy snow showers and freezing drizzle after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 33. North wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation expected.

Snow showers likely, mainly before 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 26. North wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
