2 Milford Residents Lose Thousands Due To Scammers: Police
Police are urging residents to be vigilant and shared these tips.
MILFORD, CT — The Milford Police Department said there have been two recent incidents where elderly residents have been scammed out of thousands of dollars.
Police said the suspect calls the victims and poses as an attorney stating that their son/daughter was arrested and needs a cash bond.
"PLEASE make your friends and relatives aware and advise them to always call or go to their local police department to verify such claims," police said.
