MILFORD, CT — The Milford Veterans Ceremony and Parade Commission (VCPC) announced that the City of Milford Wreath Laying Ceremony and Memorial Day Parade, scheduled for Sunday, May 24 is canceled.

After extensive coordination with public health officials, the annual event will not move forward this year in the interest of our community’s health, city officials said. The VCPC does, however, encourage everyone to take a moment to honor and remember our military heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms and liberties we enjoy.

"We will never forget."
