After Delays, Wedding Venue Charts Opening In Milford
A Walnut Beach venue that promises 'breathtaking views' has its first wedding scheduled.
MILFORD, CT — Wedding venue Tyde at Walnut Beach is poised to open this spring, according to Hearst Connecticut.
Tyde was supposed to open in January 2023 but was hit with construction delays. The opening was pushed back to August.
General Manager Rosa Ponte didn't give an exact opening date but said the first wedding is scheduled for March 23, Hearst Connecticut reported.

The wedding venue was built on the former Costa Azzurra restaurant site on Broadway. The property was bought by the Landino family, which also operates Cascade Fine Catering in Hamden.
Tyde at Walnut Beach is described as "the newest premiere wedding venue situated in Milford, CT." The venue has a maximum capacity of 250.
