Annual Lamplight Stroll Returns to Downtown Milford
The 15th, annual event is a nostalgic, old-fashioned, holiday celebration.

From Downtown Milford: The popular 15th Annual Downtown Milford Lamplight Stroll will take place on Friday, December 2, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This classic New England tradition is a lively event, presented by the Downtown Milford Business Association (DMBA). Each year, visitors of all ages return to this favorite nostalgic event, offering an old-fashioned holiday celebration staged throughout the picturesque, friendly downtown Milford district. Proceeds of the DMBA Hospitality Tent will be donated to the Beth-El Center of Milford.
Visitors will browse through the 25+ Stroll Shops open for the event, offering a unique holiday shopping experience. In addition, there will be live entertainment and musicians throughout downtown, horse and carriage rides around the Green, and visits by Santa and Mrs. Santa. New activities this year include: projected images of classic holiday movies at three locations throughout downtown, a ‘Santa’s Man Cave,’ featuring businesses that appeal to men, including Colonial Toyota of Milford, Hawkwood Games, Smart Home and Theater, Spinnaker Apartments, and Wines and More. In addition, there will be a DMBA Hospitality Booth will be selling concessions and mini-poinsettias, and a Downtown Milford Holiday Market sponsored by Spinnaker, located at 50 Broad Street next to Colony Pizza. The Market’s Grand Opening will be Friday, December 2 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Market will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on December 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, and December 21-22. There are still a few spaces available for any vendors who wish to showcase their business at the Holiday Pop Up. Those interested should call 203-745-4946.

Attendees can pick up a Lamplight Stroll Holiday Passport and free candy canes at the Festival of Lights Tree Lighting event on the Green on Friday, November 25th from the Downtown Milford Business Association’s booth by the Gazebo from 5:30 – 7 p.m., or at any participating Lamplight Stroll business.
