Baby Born at Cheshire Home
Police responded to a call of a woman in labor early Monday morning but the baby apparently couldn't wait.

A 35-year-old Cheshire woman gave birth to a baby boy at home early Monday morning, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports police responded to a Wiese Road home around 2 a.m. on the report of a woman in labor but the baby had arrived just before they did.

Officer Gretchen Ovesny assisted the family with the newborn until an ambulance arrived to take the mother and child to the hospital, according to the Record-Journal.
