Car Crashes Into Milford Business, Driver Suffers Minor Injuries
One person was inside the business at the time of the accident earlier this week but was able to get to a secure area.
MILFORD, CT — Milford firefighters rescued a woman who drove her vehicle into a downtown law offices Tuesday morning.
One employee at the law offices of Kapusta, Otzel and Averaimo was inside the building at the time of the accident, but was able to get to a secure location, a top fire official said.

At 8:22 a.m. Tuesday the Milford Fire Department responded to a building where a vehicle crashed through a front wall.
The arriving department units found a car driven half way into the building at 250 Broad Street. There was one single occupant in the car with minor injuries, said Fire Capt. Gregory Carman.

Firefighters had to force their way in the vehicle to free the person and start medical care. The driver was sent to Yale New Haven Hospital for further evaluation.
The building at the time of the incident had one occupant. This person was uninjured and found in a locked room in another part of the building, Carman said.
The vehicle was removed without further incident and the building was inspected by the City Building Department. All department units were cleared of the scene by 9:35 a.m.
