Owner Stanley George shared that the expansion was fueled by requests from Milford residents and commuters eager for a high-quality coffee option at the station.

?Milford commuters reached out to us for years asking when we?d bring Wake-Cup here,? George said in a statement from the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Wake-Cup?s sandwiches are served on their pretzel buns that are baked fresh every morning using a Swiss-inspired recipe.

After beginning renovations in April, the team officially opened doors Sept. 29.

George also expressed gratitude to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, whose partnership helped facilitate the new location?s approval.
