CT 4th Of July Weekend Weather Forecast: Rain Showers Dominate

If you have outdoor weekend plans for the 4th of July weekend, it looks like you'll be dodging raindrops, but Monday, July 5 looks good.

CONNECTICUT — The upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend forecast for Connecticut is a mixed bag. Saturday doesn't look good at all, as rain showers dominate, and there may be afternoon thunderstorms.

On Sunday, there is a chance for more rain showers and a storm, but it will be a better weather day than Saturday. Monday, July 5 is the best weather day as sunshine dominates and temperatures will be around 80 degrees. On Saturday, temperatures will only be in the mid 60s with rain showers falling off-and-on.

The National Weather Service said rain showers increase Friday afternoon and thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and small hail.
