CT Weather: Thunderstorms, Excessive Heat Forecast For Tuesday

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the entire state on Tuesday. Here are the new forecast details.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut may see thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon which may produce heavy rain in a brief period of time along with strong wind gusts and lightning, according to the National Weather Service.

It will be another hot and humid day, with temperatures soaring into the 90s for most of the state, though it will be a few degrees cooler at the immediate coast. Once the storms roll on through, temperatures remain hot and humid on Wednesday and more storms are possible too.

We don't get a bit of a break on the heat and humidity until Thursday. The high temperature on Friday will struggle to reach 70 degrees.
