Under our leadership, Milford has received recognition for sound financial management and environmental stewardship, earning accolades from state and national organizations that acknowledged Milford's commitment to sustainable growth and responsible budgeting. These achievements reflected real policies that kept property taxes stable, maintained the city's excellent bond rating, and invested in green infrastructure.

Our children excelled in school, consistently ranking among Connecticut's top performing districts. Democratic leadership on the Board of Education championed increased funding for STEM programs, world language in elementary school, and expanded arts education, in learning environments where every student could thrive.
