Developer Sues Milford Over Affordable Housing Vote: Report
The developer is suing because the city reduced the project by one unit.

MILFORD, CT — Stop me if you've read this before,another developer is suing the city of Milford over an affordable housing application.
This time the developer of a planned nine-unit housing complex at 214-224 Seaside Avenue is suing because the city only approved the project for eight units, the Milford Mirror reports.

Because the project was scaled back by one unit, the developer has appealed the city's decision.
The Planning and Zoning Board had previously rejected the project back in the spring but the developer made modifications in an attempt to address sightline concerns.

Revised plans include demolishing an existing house and constructing eight cottages. Neighbors have vehemently protested the development.
But because it's an affordable housing project, often the courts side the with developer and not the municipality.
