Dockside Brewery Temporarily Closes Due To Coronavirus

The waterfront Milford brewery announced the temporary closure on Tuesday morning.

MILFORD, CT — Milford's new waterfront brewery, Dockside, has temporarily closed after one staff member tested positive for the coronavirus.

On social media, the brewery posted: "Dear Docksiders, We just heard that a member of our staff has tested positive for Covid. As always, our staff and guest’s health and well-being are our first priority, and, for this reason, we regretfully announce a temporary closure. This hiatus will provide us time for our monthly deep cleaning and confirm that all employees are in good health before returning to the Brewery.

"Stay tuned! We will announce our reopening soon and are grateful for your understanding and continued support. We wish everyone the best in the days ahead and look forward to seeing you soon. Happy holidays to all! Dockside Brewery."

The news was met with strong support. One person wrote, "Most places don't close when an employee has Covid, so I give you credit for being this safe I hope your employee gets well, soon!"

Another person wrote, "I don't know any place that has done as well as y'all for maintaining during these times. Cheers to safe health and look forward to the other side of the hiatus."
