CT Weather: Freezing Cold Friday, Forecast For Easter Improves
When you step outside Friday be prepared for it to feel like winter!
CONNECTICUT — The weather is painful Friday as it feels more like a February day than an April day. But there is plenty of good news on the horizon.
After today's very cold weather we begin to moderate gradually and Easter Sunday's forecast looks much better. Earlier this week there were concerns that it might rain on Sunday, but now it looks partly sunny with temperatures into the upper 50s to near 60 degrees. It may be a bit windy with gusts up to 20 mph but at least it should be dry.
Saturday will be chilly but at least it will be 10 degrees warmer than Friday.

And beginning next week we get to enjoy a stretch of some early nice spring weather with sunshine dominating along with 60 degrees.
WTNH News 8 chief meteorologist Gil Simmons said "Dress for a cold day today! High temperatures will make it to the upper 30s & 40s but the wind will keep the wind chill in the 20s! Lots of clouds, some sun and there could be a couple of flurries! A little warmer tomorrow with more sun and 50°. Some clouds on Easter! Happy Easter!"
