Estate Sale Planned For Iconic Milford Bar's Possessions

The longtime, popular neighborhood bar is currently on the market.

MILFORD, CT — This summer it was announced that Milford's iconic Beachcomber Café at 92 Melba St. closed its doors for good, according to real estate agents.

And now comes word that an estate sale is planned this weekend. According to Estatesales.org, an in-person estate sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The location will be announced Friday.

More than 50 photos are featured concerning what you can purchase. According to the event posting, masks are required and only cash will be accepted for items on a first-come, first-serve basis. (View photos for all the items for sale here.)

Everything inside the bar is up for sale, including memorabilia, a jukebox, the bar, chairs, signs and a lot more.

Coldwell Banker in Milford is marketing the property. The asking price is $625,000.

A post on the Beachcomber Café's Facebook page said, "As most of you all know....The Beachcomber has closed its doors for good and that our fearless leader has passed. Many people have been asking if the items inside the bar will be available for sale. Well, here your answer....this Saturday and Sunday from 9-3, masks must be worn in order to attend."
