Hope you’re hungry, Milford.
The first-ever Milford Restaurant Week is only a few weeks away -- and 21 local eateries are participating.
“The idea is to whet the appetite of residents,” says Priscilla Lynn, executive director of the Downtown Milford Business Association, which is co-hosting the event (scheduled for Oct. 7-13) with the Milford Chamber of Commerce.

Lynn says she hopes residents and out-of-towners alike visit several restaurants during the week.
“I’d love to go to everyone,” she says. “I’m a consumer, too.”

Restaurants will offer special three-course prix fixe menus – many priced at about $20 a person for dinner or about $12 a person for lunch.
“The overlayer of this is that it’s a great branding opportunity for Milford to show it’s a destination for tourists,” Lynn says.
