NORTH HAVEN, CT — Former Jonathan Law coach Tom Blake has been named the new girls’ basketball coach at North Haven High School, officials recently announced. Blake has more than 35 years of coaching experience at the high school and college level.
Blake began his coaching career at Cheshire Academy where he transformed a team that had only won three games into a championship-caliber program, appearing in the New England Class B Championship Game.
After leaving Cheshire Academy, Blake coached at several colleges throughout the northeast. Some of the notable colleges he has worked for coaching both men and women are Quinnipiac University, Northeastern University and the University of Rhode Island. He was also the head coach at Jonathan Law High School in Milford for six years.
