Former Smashburger Building In Milford Has A New Tenant
A new tenant has signed a five-year lease agreement for the site, which became vacant when Smashburger closed.

MILFORD, CT — The former Smashburger property at 1590 Boston Post Road has a new tenant.
Michael Richetelli, President and Designated Broker of Colonial Properties, Inc., announced that a five-year lease has been signed for the 2,700-square-feet building.
The building, previously tenanted by Smashburger, will be the future home of Tropical Smoothie Café, a fast casual food franchise. Headquartered in Georgia, Tropical Smoothie Café features healthy menu options that include wraps, salads, and sandwiches in addition to smoothies. This marks the second Tropical Smoothie Café in Connecticut.

“The strong leasing activity we are seeing is indicative of the repositioning that's taking place in the market. While many businesses are closing as casualties of the pandemic, there are many new businesses looking to open as CT is seeing an influx of new people moving into the state,” said Richetelli.
