One of the city's most well-known residents is relocating with her family out of state this spring.

MILFORD, CT — Former GOP state Sen. Pam Staneski will be departing her job as Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce president in April.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve our businesses and community," Staneski said in a news release. "This is more than a job to me. I truly love the community and am so thankful for having had the opportunity to represent its businesses and the Chamber organization for the past two years.”
Chamber Board Chair Paige Miglio said Staneski will be missed, and that she helped develop the organization over the past two years. The Staneski family is relocating to North Carolina.
