Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Southern Connecticut

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for southern Connecticut as snow is expected Thursday.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for southern Connecticut for some minor snow accumulation on Thursday morning.

"Slippery travel conditions are possible overnight as light snow moves in and leaves up to an inch of accumulation ahead of the Thursday morning commute," the weather service said.

It appears the light snow begins around midnight and continues through the morning hours. A total of 1-2 inches of accumulation is possible, the weather service said.
