Southern CT Weather: 50 MPH Wind Gusts Possible Monday, Tuesday
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for southern Connecticut beginning Monday afternoon continuing until Tuesday morning.

SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT — The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for southern Connecticut beginning on Monday afternoon through early Tuesday morning.
The weather service said a wind advisory is in effect from 4 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday. Wind gusts of 20-30 mph are expected and some gusts could reach 50 mph, the weather service cautions.
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," the weather service adds. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result....Due to snow melt and recent rainfall some tree root systems may be somewhat compromised potentially leading to some uprooted trees."
