Headline Music Acts Revealed For Milford Oyster Festival
Check out all the bands playing at the popular late summer event in downtown Milford.

MILFORD, CT ? The Annual Milford Oyster Festival has announced its headline bands for 2025 with two evenings of music and fun. The event is scheduled for Aug. 15 and 16 from 5 to 10 p.m. at Fowler Field in downtown Milford.
Backstage Pass will play Friday evening. "(A) high energy tribute band that recreates the concert experience of an arena style 80?s rock show," Backstage Pass brings all the hair, lights, Marshall amplifier stacks, shredding guitars, and smoke shows that fans love.
The band will perform the greatest 80?s anthems from Bon Jovi, Poison, Guns & Roses, Motley Crue, Loverboy, Ratt, Van Halen, and more.

Milford's own School of Rock will open for Backstage Pass, showing off "Milford?s talented young musicians as they perform on stage," according to a statement from the Oyster Festival.
Saturday evening will feature headliner Almost Queen. The band "transports you back in time to experience the magic and essence of Queen themselves."

The setlist will feature some of Queen's best-loved songs like "Somebody to Love," "Don't Stop Me Now," "Fat Bottomed Girls," "Bohemian Rhapsody," and "Radio Ga Ga."
"Almost Queen?s impressive tribute to Queen is nothing short of breathtaking," the festival's statement reads. "The band?s authenticity shines through in their impeccable attention to detail and genuine costumes, while their live energy and precision will leave music fans of all ages with an unforgettable concert experience."
Opening for Almost Queen will be Philadelphia Freedom: A Tribute to Elton John, offering the "ultimate and most realistic Elton John tribute currently touring."
Dave & Chrissy, a local duo playing acoustic music, will warm up the stage for these bands.
The festival will also feature locally sourced oysters from Milford?s own Briarpatch Shellfish Company, along with food and beverages including beer, wine, and hard seltzers.
Amusement rides are $35 and festival admission is $8 per night. Children age 13 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult.
