How Many Milford Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine So Far?

State health officials released data for the first time which shows how many residents in each town have been vaccinated for COVID-19.

MILFORD, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, a total of 5,825 Milford residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

There are 54,747 Milford residents and 10.64 percent of them have received their first dose. Milford has 4,215 residents over the age of 75 and 1,811 of them have received their first dose or 42.97 percent, according to state health officials.

And if you're curious, Stratford has disseminated the vaccine to 8.29 percent of its population, while West Haven is at 6.68 percent and Orange is at a whopping 15.37 percent.

Since the pandemic began in March, Milford has reported 3,360 cases and 119 deaths.
