ID Released In Fatal Milford Crash
A woman died and another person suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Milford, police said.

MILFORD, CT ? A woman seriously injured in a crash in Milford on Saturday has died, according to a police statement.
Police responded to a report of a crash with possible life-threatening injuries Saturday at 6:06 p.m.
An investigation found that a Jeep Compass was driving north on the Milford Parkway and entered the Boston Post Road intersection.

A Toyota Corolla driving west on Boston Post Road collided with the Jeep at the intersection, causing both the driver and the passenger in the Toyota to be injured.
Firefighters had to extricate the two people from the Toyota. They were then taken to Bridgeport Hospital.

The passenger, Frances Sullivan, died due to her injuries on Sunday. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries.
A third patient from the other vehicle was also transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Milford fire officials shared photos, which show two vehicles totaled in the serious crash.
Boston Post Road was closed due to an investigation between the area of Meadow and West River streets Saturday night.
