MILFORD, CT — The Kimberly Diner is temporarily closed after a pipe broke at the restaurant and caused extensive water damage, the eatery reported on its social media.

"We hope to have the matter resolved and be back at business and serving you, our family and friends very soon. Until then God bless you all, watch over you, and bring you happiness (on) through the holidays, from all of us here at the Kimberly restaurant."

The eatery is located at 501 New Haven Ave.
