MILFORD, CT — Do you love beer then this may be your dream job.

Dockside Brewery, LLC is hiring for an assistant brewer on a part-time basis which may become full-time in the fall.

Part Time Hours, three days per week starting in July. Job will be Part Time for 2-2.5 months, then, if successful, will transition to full time in September.

Professional Brewing Experience is MANDATORY. Must have experience working as a brewer or cellar operator. Must have a sound knowledge of Professional Brewing Process. Must be able to do extremely physical work with the ability to handle 165 lb kegs and 55 lb sacks of malt. Must be passionate, a hard worker who can be diligent even when unsupervised, and mature, fun and responsible.

THE JOB:
This is a Brewer job. We are a small brewery, doing extremely high volume, and have complete freedom to brew whatever we feel like brewing. This brewer will work side by side with our Brewmaster being deeply involved with all tasks; brewing, staff education, customer interaction, recipe design, keg washing, tank cleaning, general cleaning, and more.
This job is a great opportunity for someone who is in the industry now, but wants to learn and do more. And have fun doing it in a small brewing environment, on the water with freedom.

OUR BREWERY:
We operate a 7 bbl, 2 vessel, gas fired system. We currently have Four 7 bbl fermenters, one 10 bbl wooden Foeder for production of true sour beers, Eight 7 bbl serving tanks, and we have recently ordered Two 14 bbl fermenters and one 14 bbl bright tank.
