Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?


The Hortons: We formed our business in 2016. It took us two years to find this perfect location at Milford Marketplace. LunchboxWax has been in business since 2013.

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?


The Hortons: We were looking for a franchise concept. We had heard of LunchboxWax from another franchisee we knew. After interviewing all the franchisees, we decided it was for us.


Patch: If you had to sum up your business mission to a stranger, what would you say?


The Hortons: Create a successful business through supporting a competitive, diverse and enjoyable workplace.


Patch: What’s the biggest challenge or most difficult moment you’ve faced in your job?


The Hortons: All the challenges of small business owners, hiring, maintaining staff and new clients.


Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?


The Hortons: Our 5-star rating. People love our services and products.

The Hortons: Watch the pennies, and the dollars will follow.


Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?


The Hortons: Yes, we do have some exciting things happening in the salons. Over the course of the next few months we will be introducing some new products that will help skin pre and post-wax, as well as a new line of brow products to help you keep your brows on point.
