Major Shopping Plaza In Milford Sold In Multi-Million-Dollar Deal

A prominent shopping center has been sold to owners who plan to bring in new retailers.

MILFORD, CT ? A Milford shopping plaza has been sold to a new owner for $7.9 million, according to a statement.

HKS Real Estate Advisors arranged the acquisition loan for 70 Turnpike Square, a 105,481-square-foot multi-tenant shopping center. The new owner is Constitution Credit.

The property is nearly 22 acres and has 521 parking spaces.

The center is currently 70 percent occupied. Tenants include Domino's, Sally Beauty, Michael's, and a few others, an HKS representative said.

The new owners "plan to improve operations" and will release the remaining space to "a diverse mix of retailers."

The plaza is located nearby Walmart, Target, Costco, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe?s.
