Man Assaulted Woman At Motel: Milford Police

He is also accused of violating a protective order, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man is accused of assaulting a woman at a local motel, police said.

On May 11, police responded to the Mayflower Motel on a report of a suspicious incident, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Daniel Marconi, 40, of West Shore Drive, who is accused of attacking the female victim, hitting her several times before breaking her phone and holding a knife over her preventing her from leaving, police said in a news release.

Marconi is also accused of violating an active court order of protection which protects the victim, police added.

He is charged with criminal violation of a protective order, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, criminal attempt at second-degree assault, and unlawful restraint. He was given $5,000 bail.
