An investigation found that Ronald Boykin, 65, of Bridgeport, met the victim on a website. After providing her with housing for a weekend, he told her he was going to traffic her and force her to prostitute, according to police.

The victim was given a phone to use for all "dates" and was forced to make money. Boykin put the victim in a motel room and managed all her visits, taking all the money that was made, police said.

He is also accused of only feeding the victim every few days, and he would sexually assault the victim when she did not follow directions.

This continued for about two and a half weeks until the victim was able to call for help, according to police.

Boykin was taken into custody Monday and charged with first-degree sexual assault and trafficking in persons.

He was held on $175,000 court-set bond and taken to Milford Superior Court on Tuesday.
