Man Found Asleep At The Wheel Kept Gun In Cup Holder, Milford Police Say
A man is facing charges after police say they found him asleep at the wheel at a traffic light.

MILFORD, CT — A man was charged after he was found asleep at the wheel at a traffic light and had a gun in the cup holder, according to police.
Police found the driver of a white Genesis asleep at a traffic light at East Town Road and Old Gate Lane on Nov. 25 at 3 a.m.
An investigation found that the man was driving drunk, police said. Police also found a gun in the cup holder at the time.

The man was charged with driving under the influence and carrying a firearm under the influence.
Bond was set at $500. He's scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on Dec. 23.
