Man Punches Woman In Face Twice, Given $25K Bond: Milford Police

Police said the accused held a knife to the victim's stomach and throat and threatened to kill her.

MILFORD, CT — A Hartford man is accused of violating a protective order and assaulting a woman, Milford police said.

On May 6, police responded to the Devon Motel on the report of a possible domestic violence incident. Investigation led to the arrest of Freddie Burgos, 36, of Park Terrace, who is accused of getting into a verbal argument with a woman that has an active order of protection against Burgos, police said.

Burgos is also accused of punching the woman in the face twice, holding a knife to her stomach and throat and threatening to kill her, police said in a news release.

Burgos is charged with violation of a protective order, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and second-degree threatening. He was held on $25,000 bail.
